A while back a sweet ass game called Shadow of the Colosus came out. In the game there were 16 (I think) bosses you could fight, each one a gigantic cross between creature, landscape and ancient ruins. I stumbled across this http://boards.ign.com/board/b8115/108935396/p1/?10 and found out that there were actually several more colossi that were taken out of the game. I posted some of the best ones, you can see the rest on the link:
A third "small" colossus to go along with the two "lions".
War of the worlds spider?
Possibly a monkey?
Alternate versions of a collosus that made it into the game.
SAND WORM!
A gargoil/gremlin thing. Looks like he would be fast...
A bird boss left out of the game. A vulture or a peacock?
The colossus from the very first trailer/demo.
And the best for the last, A FRIGGIN DRAGON!!!!!

I have no idea why any of these were left out, except maybe a lack of funds. It could also be because of a small team (around 30 people) that they ran out of time and had to move on with only 16 colossi. This is the same team that made Ico, so hopefully their next game will incorporate some of these guys. Fingers crossed!

i'm one of the few that hated the game, jus becuz it was just like old megaman where u jus fight all the bosses again at the very end. except, you ONLY fight bosses on this game. and the incredibly huge world without any town or any other living things except u and the collosol was kinda....lonely.
but now that u say it was made by like group of 30ppl or so? well.................damn.
forget all the things i said.lol
making that with 30ppl is crazy boiled nutz.
still........meh
nevermind. lol

I do agree with you that the game is very lonely, but if you play it in the right setting you start to get a sense of really deep sadness as you keep finishing off colossi after colossi. Not to mention the ending. I won't spoil it or anything, but its amazingly depressing. I'll also admit that the controls can be kinda wonky, especially the horse. But, it kinda adds to the whole "you are powerless" aspect of the game.
Hey dude, sorry to delete your comment, but Lena is a Russian friend of mine and I wouldn't want her getting upset. No hard feelings though. These images are awesome.
Peace,
Joe
Oh sorry. I wasn't making fun of her or anything, I just can't help but crack up over bable fish translations. I didn't mean to offend.
